It’s already time for another blog post about one of the incredible venues you will meet at The Italian Destination Wedding Show!

A few weeks ago we told you about a stunning wedding and event location in Puglia, Borgo Egnazia. Now, we have a surprise for you…the San Domenico Hotels Group, of which Borgo Egnazia is part, will also be presenting another one… no wait, four more beautiful venues that would be perfect for a wonderful wedding in Italy!

We really are proud of the quality and variety of venues that are exhibiting at the show, there really is a wedding venue for all tastes and wedding budgets.

The first of the four venues for today is Masseria San Domenico. Masseria is a term used in the South of Italy to indicate an old farm house where peasants once lived. These houses are very characheristic, traditional and breathtakingly beautiful.

Masseria San Domenico is an exclusive location, perfect for high profile meetings, fairytale weddings and social events. Indian tycoon Agarwal Pramod’s daughter had her wedding here!

During the period that goes from April to November, it is possible to entirely and exclusively reserve the Masseria and surrounding lands for two or three nights, and you could have your guests staying with you in the 40 rooms available. Just think about it, you could have your own oasis in the Puglian countryside and retreat away with your loved ones for a truly intimate wedding!

Or, if you are thinking of a winter wedding in warm and mild-weathered Puglia, from December to March the location can host other events without the need to spend the night, such as family reunions, weddings and events – these would be hosted in the areas of Salone San Domenico with a capacity of about 200 people, Sala Fico  for 150 people (or 90 tables each of 10 people), and Masseria San Domenico’s Restaurant with the capacity of holding 100 guests.

 The restaurant will treat you to a vast menu accompanied by an excellent wine selection, all presented with the highest standards.

Our second venue is perfect for your summer wedding and is on the same estate as Massiera San Domenico: the stunning San Domenico a mare. If you have always dreamt of getting married with the sea as your backdrop, this is just perfect. You will celebrate together with your guests on a breathtaking location on the cliffs just above the mediterranean sea, as many VIPs before you!

The third location we want to present is Masseria Cimino, a smaller farm house and a stunning example of Puglian traditional architecture. This Masseria is surrounded by a beautiful countryside, orchards and olive tree groves, with the warm sun beating on the fields and creating a pleasant contrast with the freshness of the traditional white plaster walls.

San Domenico Hotels have infact decided to restore this ancient home respecting and preserving its peasant origins. Masseria Cimino is ideally located, just a stone throw to the archeological excavation site of the ancient city of Egnazia, San Domenico Golf course and the sea. Perfect if you are looking for a venue with a country-chic athmosphere!

And here we come to the newest of the San Domenico Hotels Group, Masseria Nuova, just 6 km from the white town of Ostuni.

Masseria Nuova is fully immersed in nature and lays in the centre of a very extended and spectacular olive grove, which has been a fantastic stage for many dream weddings.

So, you could have your wedding in between the olive trees or, why not take advantage of the magnificent, traditionally restored building itself, with the ancient olive oil mill room and the restaurant, which accommodates up to 300 people under a stone ceiling with oak beams.
