A Magical Two-Day Indian Wedding in London – Priya and Richard’s Wedding

Priya had been an Intern at Stylish Events in 2013 and the moment she got engaged she asked Dominique to her Wedding Planner, which she was honoured to do for her.

Together with her lovely family, we planned this wedding for 18 months and we loved every bit of it.

This was a huge wedding, which comprised of four events over 2 days with 360 guests.

There were dozens of suppliers, tight turn around of rooms and a massive styling element to every part of the wedding. We had 15 staff on our team and they all worked incredibly hard – both wedding days were 24 hour days for Dominique and her team. Amazing!

Thank you to the fabulous Adrian Neal for providing these beautiful images of the wedding.

DAY 2 – Indian Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane, London

Wedding at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane

With only one day in between Day 1 and Day 2, the Stylish Events team put in a huge effort for this day – we kept our energy levels up and smiles on our faces as we completed another 24 hour day!

Indian Wedding Ceremonies take about 2.5 hours and are very colourful, detailed and huge fun.

The Groom arrived on a White Horse, which is called a “Baarhat”. It was so amazing to see hundreds of guests follow him down Park Lane on a sunny Saturday morning.

Following the Ceremony, we had 3 hours to turn around the room for a l
avish dinner for 360 guests. It was truly remarkable.

We loved planning this wedding for the loveliest of clients. It was a dream wedding.
